Suggestions?
« on: November 10, 2010, 07:55:14 AM »
Does anyone have any suggestions that would improve Chemical Servers? Anything at all. Our site, our products, marketing?

Just a heads up on what im already working on:
- Improving front end controller system for more dynamic page editing.. (Effect will only be seen on backend...)
-- Addition of offshore servers in 6 countries,  licenses, more dedicated servers.
-- Game/Voice/Specific managed services.
-- Blog is in very slow dev. If anyone wants to write or have articles referenced, and/or ideas.. Lemme know.

So yea, as if i need more to do.

One thing that's loosing your forum lots of hits is when you scroll over 'Community' on the main navigation bar, you only see IRC chat. If you click, it takes you to the forum, but most people, myself included only thought their was IRC and no forum.

If you add community too, I bet you you'll get an improvement on the amount of guests.

Another thing, when someone visits your website, you want them to know exaclty what it is. There's nothing there as says, 'Website hosting' or something. With that, your target market could be newbs as well as people looking for hosting. All you're really saying is, what kind of servers you have. Use something like; 'Website Hosting Packages & Servers!'

With any website the front page gets the most views. After that a lot of people leave. You need to get as much stuff you can on there, but keeping it simple. People don't want to trail around looking for feature lists or price. List things, and provide information from other pages, and make a 'Read More' link to lead else-ware.

Good Luck.

I don't think that would go over well unless one of his partners (you have some right?) lives in an opposite timezone. Otherwise, he'll get bad reviews for slow support. This is also assuming he has an in depth knowledge of linux, security, and software for it.

We have managed. i just dont emphasize it much. Ive got people to do it though. Plus i have not decided Exactly what "managed" entails. I dont want to mislead people.

Also.. Shared hosting.

Naturally, Daz... the cost would be absorbed into the more expensive managed service.

What about database hosting?
