« on: February 03, 2012, 01:55:37 AM »
So this modem is old but not as old as the one im using now...

my main issue is i cant access the panel... im sure its not fried but bridged some moron told someone 2 years ago to reset the modem while it was in bridge mode when initially setting up the bridge we were told not to ever do that... anyhow im wondering is there any way of getting this expensive brick unbricked?

"The connection to 192.168.100.1 was interrupted."

it looks like im trying to send info to it but it is either ignoring it or it truly is garbage :D but ill try 100 later...

i am wondering where did the 100 come from? modem says 1.1 not 100.1

I use 192.168.0.1 to access my router, not *.100.1

It could be anything after the 192.168.* portion, mine ends with 1.1, everyone is different depending on their network config.

from my past experience routers generally have 192.168.1.1 modems 192.168.100.1 and voip boxes 192.168.15.1 but they can be different. i did see a router use 192.168.0.1 in the past.

hmmm ok i have a script that im currently using to parse threw a specific site etc... i could alter the text to look threw a IP range. the only issue i have is whats the max IP range for the second last one (192.168.?.1)? since its local i can rape the processor to make it go faster :P

Instead of content it might be a good idea to ping the ip and echo the possibles...

i'll try a few free programs.

only down side is no internet during it as it could be still using 192.168.1.1 >.>
