How is taking user content illegal? We have laws for this. Also, Hong Kong is not a part of the US, right?

I am not 100% sure on the legalities of this either.... I know what they will argue though, that any content that is accessible inside the US is applicable to US law..... a similar argument was used to get a UK citizen extradited from the UK to the US

they can only shut down sites after months or years of work, with SOPA and PIPA they can shut you down if you even have a file named a copyrighted material regardless if its file extension can truly be it or not...

With SOPA/PIPA you prob cant even list songs, file names, etc with out going to jail...

the only issue is the 90% given to them... want to know why the artist gets 90%? they have to record the label at their cost they have to have a designer design the cover 99.9% of the work is on their end i would not be surprised if they even had to advertise their music =.= Sure MU has huge traffic and could possibly give the artist more money but if the record flops the artist is not just out of a job like at UMG but with the thousands of dollars out of pocket...

MU just sits on their a** collecting 10% for nothing... Why nothing? the servers are already there so it costs no more to hold 2000TB of data vs 2010TB of data. assuming everyone around the world flocked to them very very fast...
