Mine is like 1900 @ 900MB currently.. Synced up to Wuala.

its called a pagefile actually but yes.... its the same thing
Get 2.25G of space on Dropbox by CLICKING HERE, Rather than 2G otherwise. Sync files between multiple computers, Web and even share folders with your friends!

windows pagefile is not in the same category as swap imo... its 10x easier to increase linux's swap then it is to increase windows pagefile...

windows pagefile is not in the same category as swap imo... its 10x easier to increase linux's swap then it is to increase windows pagefile...


Wrong, wrong, completely wrong. Linux uses a swap partition, and you know damn well how obnoxious it is to resize and shuffle partitions. Whereas to increase or decrease it on windows, you type the new size in a box, hit OK, and reboot. Done.

Edit: my latest deskop. Basic, but its in the Cloud! I usually access it from my iPad over vnc.

I've never had an issue with partitions or windows pagefile tbh.... Only disaster I once had was when I disabled the pagefile once in Windows...... my system went.... kaput lol....

FYI BTW you can use swapfiles instead of partitions in Linux as well if you want....  Ubuntu defaults to the partition but... yeah you can use a swap file instead if you want
