SMF 1.1.13: http://download.simplemachines.org/

RV likes to do the updates (he tests them on a local install of the forum first, etc), so I'll leave that to him. Otherwise, I'd have done it sooner.

Testing them locally is smart, I have had smf updates bork, though backing up the database and files would mitigate that risk anyhow

Long story short, I have been super busy these past couple weeks (hence why I have been here as often).  I did try and update on a local install and it just kept screwing things up.  Will most likely have it done late this week.

Long story long, I do security work; it's sort of my "thing".  Last Monday, I was given a network to build from scratch.  It needed Domain Controllers, Windows Boxes on the domain, Linux boxes on the domain, logging servers, web servers, SSH on the Linux boxes, Group policy, file servers, the whole nine yards.  I don't know if you guys have ever seen 700 computers show up at one time but they came 40 to a pallet on a tractor trailer about 5PM last Monday.  Just the sheer amount of time it has taken me to unbox them and throw out all the stupid plastic wrapping pieces is enormous.  On Wednesday, they are bringing in an outside company to do a security audit of the network.  I'm told these people consist of hackers from a couple of black hat circles as well as NSA and Northrop Grumman (big government security contractor for those that don't know).  To say that I'm under a little bit of pressure is an understatement.  Pretty much, 16 hours at work, 8 hours sleep, repeat.  So far, all the hardware is set up, Group Policy on the domain is done and 75% of machines are on the domain.

So yeah, that's why we haven't upgraded.

Remove the version number from the footer of SMF
(I have if(!$user_info['is_admin']) $GLOBALS['forum_version'] = 'SMF'; in index.php)
and no-one will bother you for the upgrade again. ; )

It's actually good to be in the know, we just need to work out some bugs first.

I can honestly say I know how you feel. Good luck!
