A forum is a place to discuss various topics, and share our opinions on such. Sometimes, we argue the opinion of another to make ours stronger. While it appears we are bringing each other down, we truly are, in a sense, trimming the fat off the facts. This allows us all to gain knowledge, decipher the truth from what is false, and learn more about each other along the way.
However, personal attacks toward an individual person or group do not aid with this. Showing hatred dulls your point, and causes it to get lost amongst the personal arguments. However, if you do have a personal issue with someone, we request you calmly solve it through a private communication medium that will not disrupt others. You can always use our PM system, and these messages will always stay private unless they are reported for moderation or required to be obtained for a violation of law (i.e., something out of our control).
So please, let's not dull the sword of knowledge with dishonor, but sharpen it through research and healthy debate.
